maybe i am missing something here but if a newbi is posting on a old post maybe the answer was not clearly given.
but at least they are looking for the answer before they just post the same question again and again.
myself i think that any one willing to look first and then ask the question at least is showing some abilty to do things for themselves

Actually these rules were implemented a few months ago after many members were wildly bumping themselves 3-4 times in a row. laid down the law and asked his mods to enforce the rules.

That means EDITING a BUMPOST into the offending post, and explaining breifly what the offense is. That is protocol, NOT PMing the offender.

You were not punished for breaking the rules, you were simply warned as it was your first offense. You are correct, this is a forum, but like ALL forums, it has rules. The rules are not complex, not in the least. A mass Email was sent out to ALL registered members when the new rules were set in place, and they were added to the terms and conditions presented to new members.

We are not asking you to follow the rules to a T, just asking that you make some attempt to respect them.

1. emails were sent to the accounts used to register here, if that account is bouncing messages, is full..etc..we would not be informed of that.

2. Im not the one getting all hyper. These new rules have left us a non-cluttered forum, that is also free.

3. Im not tired out at all, just explaining the rules.

4. Id define respecting the rules as "not disregarding them", and "not questioning the ones who have been assigned the task of enforcing them".

I still dont see why you are all up in arms over this. Ive had to do it dozens of times, everyone understands and complies, it's been a non-issue up to this point.

You brought back a long dead thread in the graveyard, then double posted. I dont care what anyone says, you broke the rules. We discourage reviving really old threads, but the double posting did violate a set rule. AGAIN, I just informed you of the rule, and brought the infraction to your attention to prevent you from breaking it in the future. No punishment was given, no PM to the admin or anything, just brought it to your attention, Like I am supposed to.

fwiw, I spend almost the entire day outside, I come in every once in a while to check on thing's I have shipped, or are being shipped to me, Emails, and this forum.

If anyone has a problem with the way I have handled this, please feel free to PM me, or send me an Email without fear of getting in trouble, all constructive criticism is welcome!
