2 cycle more, but a good 4 stroke maintained fairly regularly arent bad at all, and have less to go wrong than the bigger go karts.

I race dirt bikes and trust me they are more work and more money
If its broke we can Fix it.
If it isn't broke, we can make it better.
If we can't make it better, you don't want to ride it!!

It really depends on usage. They are both going to cost you big if you race them, but general use on a 4 stroke dirtbike will last just as long as a gokart, with minimal work.

Part for part, and pound for pound...the go kart is the cheaper of the two

even right from the start, hell a new dirt bike can cost from $4-6000. up front;

even if occasional use, easy or hard, first thing that breaks or wears out will cost you more on a dirt bike, unless of course, you are reffering to the cheap
dirt bikes made by the Chineese cart companies......i wouldnt own one of those, seems like a waste...if ya send a little more you can get a "REAL" dirt bike.

Guess its all how ya look at it, and everyone has their own opinion.....

HEHE PROBLEM IS YOUR OPINION IS PROBABLY WRONG LOL (just kidding) :)

maybe so but if you talk pound for pound, the go karts you'd be refering to would have to be the cheap kind. If you bought the good expensive ones your looking at the same price as the bike, and even more expensive parts.

AND THERE YA GO...............
