how much is dirt bike worth

I have a 1991 Kawasaki KDX250 that I bought in 92, it was a dealer repo and barely used. The bike has never been apart, all I have done is change the fluids. All the plastic looks real good, but the tank is cracked at the petcock and leaks. A new tank from Kawasaki is $330. A guy I work with wants the bike, but I don't know what to ask for it.

I would'nt go higher than $1500 onless he wants to pay that. But do what Nvmyengine said, let him work down the price and see what works for you.
