this is a honda 400ex with a yz426 motor in it so its now called a hybrid quad. it has over 50 hp and no quad from the factory is as fast as mine.

almost nothing is stock on the whole thing.
race ready for mx or sx

heres pic.
Image

The motor that was in it b4 was a 400 putting over 30 hp and over 130dbs. im trying to find a go cart or a small dirt bike to cram the motor in to make a realy fast drag racer so if any one is selling something let me know.

this is the 400 motor

new outlaw IS A TRAIL QUAD!!!!!!
The thing
is tall which makes it tippy.
has big tires which make it tippy
the way the rear end is it makes it even more tippy in the turns
the motor isnt good enough for mx.
its kinda fat and ugly
the shocks are way soft
the ktm motor in the quad is know were close to the dirt bike motor
its way heavy

Here is what is its advantages.
it has soft shocks and no swing arm which makes it better driving over rocks and it gets more grip than most sport quads.

if polaris was making a race quad it would be a 450 motor not 510cc. notice its 510 cc and not 525cc???? its gona be good as a craptor.

POLARIS SAID ITS THE BEST PERFORMING TRAIL QUAD EVER.

I would like to see one of those hit a jump like this.

The real best quad (racing)is the ones like mine.
Frame geomitry like the 250r/400ex are the best handling you can get but not the best motors. add a 426-450cc dirt bike motor and it will have a advantage every were over any 450 race quad.

thats not a opinion its a fact

4 wheeler

Postby BigTenor » Sat Oct 14, 2006 4:28 am

I saw a four wheeler on ebay a while back with a big 4 cyl streetbike engine stuffed in the frame. I think it was around 80 to 100 hp.

Polaris 425

Postby BigTenor » Sun Oct 22, 2006 9:08 pm

Tuned up a 1995 Polaris 425 Magnum 4x2 yesterday for my neighbor. He bought it new and has used it exclusively to round up his longhorn cattle. It has 1,251 miles in it and he told me it still had the factory oil in it! 11 yrs old! He's lucky it is synthetic oil because the mineral based stuff would have gelled on him by now. This is a liquid cooled 4 stroke with an independant hi/lo transmission with reverse, man this would be great on a go-kart.

the other day a lady payed one of my friends to get her lawn mower running cuase one day it jsut stoped running and she needed to mow her lawn. When my friend started working on it he looked at the airfilter and it was all most sucked it to the motor. Then he checked the oil and nothing came out so he tilted the mower and jello like oil started to slowly come out.

I think he said the lady bought the mower 20 sumthin years ago and has used it about 2 times a week to mow her yard with out ever changing the filter or the oil, all she did was put gas in it and go.
