Wow, I thought this place was closed down, I tried to log in years ago, about 4 years ago and it said the forum no longer existed, I did google searches, and there was not even any mention of ....I figured it crashed and was never rebuilt.

Yeah those were the good ole days. I imagine everyone grew up and/or moved on. This is where it all started for me and gokart, who knew it would turn out to be more than a quick passing hobby? WHat have you been up to?

I worked at a call center for 7 months and I just couldnt get into it...I quit and reopened my shop with a far more aggressive battle plan, and so far, past 4 years have been great. Have not gotten back into karts though...not enough time.

My Invader LTO has been hanging in my shop now for, a good 5 years, and my Emmick has been shelved for about as long. Ive sold off most of my engines, still have the Modded out GX200 long block, and the Kohler XKE...

I pit bossed for a KArt team last year, on a banked dirt oval 1/10 mile bull ring....They ran 3-5 karts a night for our team and it was fun but it got busy...I dropped out, was eating up a whole saturday.

That's good to hear you that you re-opened up your shop. I have been thinking of doing something like that but out of my garage. I personally don't have a buggy now , had to sell off all my stuff, the kids however still have theirs so I'm usually working on them. I have a few projects sitting in the garage for "when i get time" to finish. Thnk this spring I'm going to custom build a frame for the Mini Monster Truck body I have sitting in the garage instead of trying to modify the frame that came with it.
I will eventually get me another buggy to ride with the kids, I'll have to wait to see how my income tax works out. Dude , I'm so glad your back.

I haven't logged on in forever. between wiring a truck, engine swap on a blazer, and ignition problems on my truck I have been busy lately. my honda 440ex hasn't had any problems lately. still got the ole murray with the slightly modified gx200.

I'll just say it's been a while. both front tires don't hold air. I haven't fixed them yet so it gets old refilling them all the time. the last thing I did to it was change every single bearing on it. motor starts every time I just never get around to it. I'm always busy fixing other things

isn't that the truth. I wish a had money for a new project. I don't know when I'm getting it but I'm supposed to be getting a JD hit and miss engine. that will be a fun one.

Back again 10 years later

I think I still have the decal on my tool box.

I sold all my gokarts and racing engines a few years ago and bought a Corvette Z06.

Been doing well, was just thinking about the old times, 06-07ish when the old crew was on here, the casino games...gokarts were life, that seems so long ago now. Im honestly shocked i remembered my old log-in and that it actually still worked.

Yeah this place is dead , we do get a few stragglers, come in ask 1 question and never come back. It's all good. As you can see this hasn't changed much, except for traffic. I haven't seen anyone other than you and gofastman, who came back. The rest of the crew all grew up and moved on i guess... LOL
