Red Cat ATV

Postby wrnglrmn » Mon Jul 17, 2006 2:05 am

Does anyone have any information about a Red Cat 70 cc ATV? Has anyone owned a Red Cat or know of anyone who has? Are they worth the money? I am buying one for my son, he will be 4 and this is for his birthday present, and I only plan on him using it for 2 years or so, but want too know if it would be worth it or not.

Any information will help greatly and be even more appreciated.....

Thanks,
Patrick

china atvs

Postby kewlman » Fri Sep 08, 2006 11:49 pm

china atvs are a great value for the money. i sell'em and have had no major problems at all. all are using engines similar to a honda engine so performance parts are fairly easy to get. some parts for the honda will actually fit these too. They are sold with various names; Red Cat, Roketa, Lifan, etc. all basically using the same designs. the bad part is alot are sold via the internet with no dealer prep, so the consumer will receive them the same way a dealer would; in a crate in need of final assembly and prep. Alot of consumers are upto that challenge and tend NOT to do it correctly or fail to check over the ENTIRE machine before extensive use. Sure some parts will break but you have to keep in mind you did pay 1/3 or less than a honda, yamaha, etc.

Roketa and red car are the only bad ones. copies like kazuma, are good. kazuma is probably the best one out there!

About Bad Talk about Roketa

Postby Splinth » Fri Dec 05, 2008 12:34 pm

I have two Roketas A 250 atv and 250 D.B. I have had no problems at all with both Machines. My be I just got lucky and got two good ones. The ATV has 700 Miles'all off road and still runs great. The D.B has 450 miles on it all off road and is fast 45 mph.I really get tired of all the bad talk about Roketa.

if i were you i would get a honda yamaha etc that would have a good resale value since you plan on only using it for 2 years i am sure if you took great care of it and did not abuse it, it would end up being about the same price
