Any experience with Kinroad XT250GK?

Postby Todd » Sun Sep 24, 2006 4:39 pm

Hi, I am a new member, first time posting. I am interested in purchasing a Kinroad XT250GK Dual seat go kart. I have a local dealer that carries it and can get parts.

Any experience with Kinroad karts or this model in particular?

Are the liquid-cooled engines (like this one) more reliable.

My main concern is reliability. Myself and my 13 year son will just be karting around about 50 acres of fields on our property.

Thanks for your help.

Todd.

Kinroad is a great buggy. They are high quality and have great parts supply and customer support. The US distributor is a regular poster over on buggynews.com (Runmaster). The Kinroad 250is one of the better performing 250's right out of the box due to it being built on the same smaller frame as the 150's. The new 250's also have a lot of improvements to fix a few minor problems that people were having with the first generation 250 (new radiator, reverse shift linkage etc.,).

Check out http://buggynews.com for more info on the Kinroad buggies.

Todd I honestly think you'll be impressed. For awhile we couldnt keep them in stock. They are our best selling karts of the Kinroads. The bright yellow sells the best in my opinion. Out of the box power. I will say If you buy one, if your the one who gets it running, it does take abit to get the fuel flowing to the carb. Be patient with that. Keep the charger on your battery while doing the starting til you get her going. Let it sit and idle for a short while before giving her hell.
